The COMESA Bankers' Association has recently developed a new approach to serving the greater banking community within the COMESA sub-region. This new approach is a direct result of expanding our definition of the banking community to not only include the needs of the banks and their employees but to also include the consumers in each country and city who use these banking services. This new focus, in effect, helps the COMESA subregion to realize its goals of regional development, with a specific focus on regional investment and education. This new business approach also helps attract new customers into the banks, thereby making the banks more successful.

BANK FRAUD PROGRAMME
The COMESA Bankers' Association is proud to offer one of the only Bank Fraud Prevention programmes within the region. The COMESA Bankers' Association employs the services of a Bank Fraud Expert who provides valuable prevention information and techniques to both the individual banks as well as the regional legislators.
The COMESA Bankers' Association believes firmly that bank fraud, corruption, and money-laundering must be prevented rather than investigated, so our programme provides proactive solutions.
