Institute Of Bankers

The COMESA Bankers' Association will conduct a feasibility study of a Regional COMESA Institute of Bankers during the year 2002. The region lacks the ability to freely transfer bank employees from branch to branch because the Diplomas and Certificates in each COMESA country vary and are frequently not transferable.
The COMESA Bankers' Association aims to improve the flow of valuable human resource capacity within the region through harmonisation of regional banking and financial services education.
